Data Literacy Playground is an online space where 16-24 year olds can use, interact with, and understand the benefits and issues of using and sharing data so that they can make informed choices about data sharing.
We're passionate about open source projects, and Stephy was excited to notice this project while working on Hacktoberfest 2018. Though the organization later switched to a different web platform, we are proud of our design and contributions.
Many of the existing pages used vintage Alice in Wonderland graphics, which became the inspiration for this bookish redesign. Vivid colors and subdued background illustrations were used to delineate each category and provide visual interest for a text- and link-heavy site.
